This may be a dumb question, but any help is appreciated....


I have a 95 chevy truck that the last time it had snow sitting on it, it pulled off the clear coat on the hood and roof...

Can I just wax over this and make it LOOK better?

I know without paint, there is no real way to fix it but would wax help the look?

#1 it's a Chevy, so it's never really going to "look good" (lol, had to do it)

#2 nope, wax will not help areas that are missing clear coat. It will protect the paint under the clear, probably, but it's never going to look like it should.
