Hi, just bought my 2014 GT convertible and really like the car. One thing though, the radio sometimes blinks for no apparent reason, then quits, and the cd player will skip if the road is too bumpy. The am band is also sketchy. Any thoughts?

Dynavin makes a nice plug and play replacement, and it’ll modernize your car nicely.

I'm not sure I agree that due to the age it just needs to be replaced. My car is a 2013 with 96k miles, have had 0 radio issues.

Is it just the display that is blinking? When it does, does the radio skip?

Due to the age, it most likely needs to be replaced.
I agree. The life expectancy of factory stereos is typically 10-15 years. Although there are exceptions, why spend money on getting it repaired when you can replace it with one of the current aftermarket stereos?

Might try taking it out and cleaning it. Check connectors/wiring/etc. Be sure to get the CD's out first. AM is sketchy for everyone. Never listen to AM anyway. Easy to add satellite if you want it.
