Recently installed springs and panhard bar.
Got some clunks on rough surface which pisses me off.

I thought it was rod end PHB but upon close inspection its not PHB and every bolts are tight as it can be.
It sounds like its coming from the trunk but I just cannot locate it..
I can reproduce the clunk shaking car side ways but it wont clunk if I shake it back and forth.

Heres the vid I just took of me shaking pumpkin. It is def not the driveshaft. I tried shaking ds but no clunk.

I'm thinking UCA but my car only has 6K miles.
Can someone give me some help with this?

Do you have poly bushings or steel end links?

Stock UCA, LCA
spherical end PHB
It is definately not the PHB. It is coming from center close to the trunk.
I'm guessing my pinion angle is off so it is somehow causing the clunk, but someone can varify this?

It has nothing to do with your pinion angle, The only thing that can make the noise is what ever you replaced. It is most likely your PHB, The spherical end PHB make noise, if you want unbolt it and see if it still makes noise. Is it spherical on both ends or just one side. If it is poly on one end put that end on the right side, and spherical on the left side.

Spherical on both end. I spent an hour under the car trying to locate the source but I don't think its the PHB. I could be wrong though.
It is coming from center area near differential. I can also hear it while I'm driving that its coming from behind the center console under the backseat.

So what if its the PHB? Do I just live with it till I change to poly bushing?

OK, It is the PHB, just take it off, put the stock back on a see if it makes noise. I have installed more of these than i care to think about. I refuse to install spherical end PHB,LCA, or UCA on street cars because of the NVH.

When I spent an hour under the car trying to reproduce the clunk, the clunks weren't coming from PHB. Could it still be the PHB in this case?

It is not the exhaust, the car makes noise when pushing it sideways! Changing 1 part will not make an unrelated part start to make noise. Stop screwing around, take it off put the stock one on and see if it still makes noise, (simple)

Yea the noise is getting worse it seems so I think it is the PHB. I'm taking it out next weekend to see what's up.

Or is it the loose nut behind the wheel???

J/K, but seriously put the stock phb on and see if your clunk is still there.

I really dont think that its the PHB. Tighten the jam nuts. If even remotely looses they will make noises and could cause the clunk. I think its his upper.

Disconnected PHB today, noise was still there when I shook my car or rearend.
So it isn't the PHB. Jam nut was tight as it can be and nuts on other suspension parts were tight as well with red lock tight.
Like I mentioned, noise is coming from behind the center console just around the pumpkin.

My question is, could off pinion angle cause clunks on stock UCA?
