Ok, a couple of years back I swapped rims and tires from my stock set to this set of 18" with nitto's. I finally have a new set of TPMS, and I just got them synced to the car and now I need to get them in a pressurized tube.

I figured I would go to lowes and get some PVC piping and the appropriate glue and keep the sensors in there. I would tape the sensors to a stick so they wouldn't move around in the tube. My problem now is how to pressurize the tube. I have an extra 2 tire valve stems, but I don't see how I could get this to work. Would a bike tire valve stem work better?

Anyone else have a better idea? I don't want to put them on the rims them selves since I don't have the bands.

Well i have heard that if ya stick them in your spare that will work too. But i would have to say if ya wanted to do a PVC tube then drill a hole big enough for a valve stem and seal it up nice and tight and put 35lbs in it ... I work at a tire company and have heard a few ppl doing some stuff like this

Well what i mean what ive seen done is ppl just throw them in the spare and then they NEVER use their spare.... gotta fig out which one is more important... Having a spare or Tire light on... Most inspection places wont pass ur inspection if ur tire light is on.

why not have a set of tmps for each set of rims you have, i do(ignoring my drag slicks), and the programmer is cheap. Yeah i have to relearn the tmps twice a year, but thats no big deal.

I'm glad my Roush is an '06... they only started putting those gay TPMS in the wheels in 2007. The very idea of such a device is SO UN-MUSTANG... any Mustang owner worth shit doesn't need/want that! I'd rather have an automatic ball-scratcher built into the driver's seat... oh WAIT!.. that makes me think of an even better idea.
