I am guessing APR doesnt want half bastardized mustang running around with their kits or they produce the kits as a whole and pieceing them makes them sit on extra parts..or both.

If you are "taking off" the wide body. How are the rear fenders attached? Usually wide rear fenders cant just be taken off. They are usually riveted, glued and then molded on. Not to mention most wide bodys if done right are done to allow extra clearance of wheels so the OEM metal fender is cut and re-welded to upper fender in some fashion.

I could see how APR wouldn't want that to happen I guess. Although with their current system in place, they wouldn't be able to REALLY stop it from happening though.

You are correct on the body panel install procedure. Thanks for posting. This is something that I knew because I was at the shop just about daily during the fitment. The OEM rear quarter fenders were not cut on this car however. The panels were glued in a manner in which the can be cut off the car and re-used if needed. I never said there will not be any damage to my OEM rear quarters, they will need to be smoothed out and re-primered etc.

We are looking at possibly selling the car instead of removing the kit, I would have sold the car awhile back but I'm kinda attached to the motor we put in it..
No biggie though, if I do remove the kit and if it is in fact still usable, I will see if anyone else wants it, if not, oh well.
