My car sits outside and have noticed that leaves go down the holes in the wiper cowl where the windshield wipers come through it. Was wondering if anyone has ever removed the cowl to clean behind it?

im in the same boat. I've wondered myself if I need to remove it to make sure no weep holes or anything are stopped up. seems like I've read on here that something can stop up and let water run onto the SJB.

I've seen older cars where the air intake cowling was so packed up with leaves and pine needles that it stopped the wipers from working. And yes, the Mustangs are susceptible to SJB water damage so you absolutely don't want crap packing up in there.
