I never denied taking responsibility. I offered a deal that was justice. It was guilty of you guessed it, reckless driving, and I would do community service and 2 years probation. But the family wanted me to say "gross negligent homicide" or vehicular homicide. I was not putting my name on that. And not one single person on this board that ever posted a kill in the that section is less guilty than I was. I am sorry for Mr Frazier and hi family but what about mine? Would it have been any better had I died as well? The world against me and I won. Period. 12 can judge me, only GOD can convict me. Today, he had mercy on me, how can the family, a church going brothership of a family not have that same mercy. But I understand there pain. I lost my brother that day and he had a name. I'm glad the court system worked out for the good for once and reckless driving is understandable but careless driving defines what you described a lot better. I'm sorry for your loss and the Fraziers loss but now you must move on with your life and teach others what it is to street race. I was arrested for reckless driving back at 17 years old and it changed my life and my driving habits. Good Luck to you sir and know you had no part in the death of those two it was a freak accident.

i've always been infuriated with the fact that if someone is killed when involved street racing the other person whom isn't dead is held accountable for the other persons head. like anyone was holding a gun to someone elses head making them street race

If I was in your shoes I might even consider doing community service above and beyond what is required by court order - perhaps contacting local PD if you could participate in something like lecturing at a local high school about street racing. I might even inquire from the judge if there might be some similar service - preferably related to prevention of street racing. Just something to consider.

Already said that before I left tonight. I have wanted to lecture about my experiences all along. If I can save one life Dewayne and Mr Frazier don't die in vain....

How bout this, no racing fuel first off. Second the jury found me NOT GUILTY!!!!!!! The found me guilty of reckless driving and that's it. I didn't kill anyone. I'm sorry for the loss if Mr Frazier, but what about Dewayne? He isn't worth any less than Mr Frazier. This is over. NOT GUILTY of MANSLAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been silently monitoring this thread and i would like to say that i am glad that the jury found the verdict that they did, its time for the healing to really start and your life to begin again

It hard to say congrats, not that u don't deserve it, but because u never should have been charged with manslaughter to begin with. I let go today. Dewayne is gone, Tom Frazier is gone. No one can ever replace them. I pray GOD gives everyone involved some peace. I am closing this thread. No need to keep scratching a wound. I have respect for 302 and I won't tolerate anyone talking down on him. EVERYONE lost something that day. I am nearly bankrupt just defending myself. Two men died for no reason. It's time I move on.
