After months of research I decided to order a set of new wheels for my 2013 GT w/factory Brembos from Rotiform. After emails and phone conversations with their sales staff confirming pricing and fitment I pulled the trigger and dropped $2k on a set of Piano Black SNAs in 19x9 and 20x10.

My first issue came when I had the tires mounted and balanced. The techs tried to install the wheels but they would not seat properly due to an excess of powdercoat in the hub bore. I contacted to Rotiform to advise of this issue and they admitted fault in prep/finishing by the powdercaoat guy. Their fix to this issue was to have me manually sand the inside of each wheel to remove the coating. So for over an hour I manually sanded tested and repeated the process on the rear wheels until they fit properly. The front wheels had the same problem but a bigger issue was discovered.

Problem #2. The front wheels won't clear the Brembos as advertised and promised by Rotiform. So again I contact them to advise of this major oversight and was basically blown off. I was told these were custom wheels and I was basically outta luck. So after getting nowhere I decided to try and remedy the issue on my own. So I saved up and purchased a Baer 6p setup which would in fact clear.

Fast forward to this past weekend. I have the new brake kit installed and when the wheels are mounted the factory wheel studs stick out about 1/2 inch from the wheel face. Both sets of lug nuts I had could not secure the wheels. After trips to every parts store in town to try and find a solution I came up empty and once again had to put the wheels in the back seat. First thing Monday morning I call these morons again to advise of yet another fuck up on their part. The only thing they offer is to send me a link to some possible lug nut options that may work.

Late Monday night I sent an email to Jason their manager/owner or shop foreman I don't know his exact title expressing my absolute displeasure and frustration regarding the way I have been treated and the poor quality of their product. I asked for a solution as these wheels are useless to me. That was Monday its now Wednesday night and I still haven't heard a thing.

Any suggestions on what to do now? Thanks

I can personally verify every detail of this story, rotiform sucks and so does their (lack of) customer service. Fuck them, never do business with them.

Yes we looked and rotiform is not on there, I looked at yelp after the fact and looks like they have a few other bad reviews as well

Interesting. I know it took Neema and I like 2 months to get me a replacement center cap for my BLQ's but I wouldn't have thought them to blow off that email.

The problem is they are such a small company and can't keep up with the demand, hence their customer service suffers.

Sorry about your frustrations though. They personally insulted me when I first displayed a bunch of photos of my Shelby with Rotiforms and many people called them asking about my setup and they told them "that guy has knock-offs" and were not the real thing. They just assumed that since I wasn't the original purchaser and that was just ignorant.

Knock offs? What a joke. Way to turn away potential customers guys. Guess I'm not surprised after my interactions with them. Those people who called are most definitely better off though. Wish I was that lucky.

The second you sanded that wheel you were fucked. You should have boxed them up and shipped them back. Sorry you had such an expensive lesson. I would have run a spacer up front with longer lugs before giving up on the brembos.

He was told by rotiform to sand the wheels, it wasn't a decision he made on his own.

Also, not sure how sanding wheels justifies shit customer service

It doesn't, but sanding them altered them from new. Guess what would be said to the credit card company if he tried to get credit back. The company would say he altered the wheels. You get a mess instead of returned for improper fitment, which the CC company understands easily.

yeah I've pretty much concluded I'm fucked

Not ragging on you. Those guys played you and crappy customer service always comes home to roost. The phone stops ringing and they wonder what the fuck is going on.

The stock studs are already too long... That's the issue. Somehow the offset is too positive too clear the brembos and the wheel hub is too thin and makes the lug studs stick out too far.

are you saying the nuts won't tighten because you're running out of thread because there's too much shoulder on the studs?

if the studs are too long you can trim them down. i've done that several times. you can use a dremel tool with a small cut off wheel, but that's kind of slow. i used a sawzall the second time i did it. just run a lug nut on the stud before you make your cut and then back it back off afterwards to straighten out the thread. not an ideal solution, but you can still use the wheels.....if you still want them.

if there's too much shoulder...that's a different story. that might require going to a screw in stud.

Brotiform's whole collection are knock off designs... I would have blasted them, and listed the wheels for sale, tagging them and stating the shit company is the reason for wanting to sell.
