S&H Performance wins Tick Performance King of the Dyno shootout

Yesterday we went to Tick Performance for their king of the dyno shoot out. Tick performance is one of the big shops for GM cars. It was cool out and the car pulled like crazy. I beat out a 2014 z06 with a built lsx (427 i believe) motor with a paxton on it by 4 hp. His numbers corrected were 992whp and my numbers corrected were 996. Uncorrected the car made 1017 whp and 905wtrq on 93 octane. He had to let out of it a 6200rpm because it started going lean. I usully reve it to 7200-7400rpm. Sorry for the crappy video my buddy was videoing it for me. Also there were a total of 5 cars in the 900 all of them were turbo except the lsx corvette. We had a blast and cant wait to upgrade to the sheetmetal intKe and bigger throttle body and see what it makes. These numbers are through the stock throttle body stock intake manifold and stock exhaust manifolds. You wouldnt believe the shit talking before i got on there, then after the pull everyone started coming up asking about it.

I know I could find details about your motor with a search, but I am lazy. What compression, etc. are you running?

It is a 322 ci motor 9.3:1 comp stock heads with stock size inconel exhaust valves stock size stainless exhaust valves livernoise vlave springs and lock outs custome turbo cams trickflow crank gear advanced either 1 or 2 deg cant remember cp pistons stainless rings oliver stroker rods kellogg stroker crank arp everything i could boss block stock throttle body stock intake stock exhaust manifolds our off the self twin turbo kit

Congratulations on the WIN 3V doing work, I was there in the 06 white Saleen convertible parked behind you. Two of my friends also enter the shootout the fox body with the 5.4 turbo and the Silver Cobra. It was nice to see a Ford win at a GM shop, they tried with the Corvette it was a Grand Sport not a z06 with a built LS3 by the way, no details on the engine other than it was a LS3 block.

also nobody I talked to there including myself though the 3v would put down 1000RWHP before you strapped it to the dyno. Your car shocked everyone there for sure.

He'll yeah man... wish I had the money to buy one of your twin kits... I could really hurt some feeling then. Those numbers on pump gas is crazy!!!

It hit 23psi. Iat never got out of the 90's. He had them let out at 6k rpm's due to the boost level being higher in the cooler air. It previously made 951rwhp at 21psi revving to 7k. So still getting 30rwhp+ per psi at that level.
