I had tried headliner adhesive on mine and it did last a while but eventually peeled off. I ended up using clear gorilla glue. I brushed it on and then tucked in the edges using a plastic panel popper. It's been 3 years now and still holding strong.

Remove door panel to work on it, yes.
Remove arm rest, no. They are plastic welded on to the door panel frame.

Simple & cheap solution I have been meaning to post. All you need is window screen spline and the tool to install it. I did mine mid-summer and they are still in place. Press the floppy panel into place and press the spline into the gap at the edge. No cleaning or gluing needed.

I thought of this also, is that the correct size spline? Thanks

When you say pull the fabric off, are you referring to the leather insert material on the door?

My predator inserts are being shipped out Thursday. Question. What’s the best method to remove excess adhesive and little bits of the door panel insert foam that was left over after pulling the foam off. Light sanding?

Yes. It's soft which makes it easier. You might want to stretch it a little as you push it into place.

That will work when it is only the edges coming loose. With the entire leather insert is coming off no amount of that is going to help it.

On mine, the whole thing came loose because it started peeling from the top. On a hot day it would be folded in half when I returned to the car. Cured so far. Did you try it?

I have glued both of them back. The passenger door is starting to come off again along with bubbles in the middle where it is releasing. The second time I tried gluing the driver side on I screwed it up and had to throw it away.
I will get some inserts, hopefully I can find the carbon fiber ones that used to be available.

Light sanding, goo-gone, followed by rubbing alcohol.

Does the goo-gone attack the plastic?

No! not at all. Then clean off with rubbing alcohol.
