I was having some work done on my car and in the same shop they were testing Saleen's new hat (top) on one of their car's.

I manage to grab a couple of pics.

The new hat/cover does have better flow properties than the previous hat/cover so it is functional and not just a cosmetic upgrade.

Not sure I read that chart right, but...

Does it indicate that the TB is a 170 CFM restriction on the old lid?
A 187 CFM restriction on the new lid?

So using what I am assuming is a stock TB, you only gain 38cfm?

Interesting. I wonder if that will be incorporated into their SuperShaker version?

I have heard these will be available in two weeks but I have not been able to verify this.

I did not ask if this works with the FRPP 62MM TB.

I actually have some video I will post later tonight and a couple of other pics once I get home from work.

Saleen Speedlab has a little info on it on they're facebook page. One of the things they did with the new lid is they removed the forward center attach point, so you do not have that blockage in the mouth of the inlet anymore. (The updates on the lid are a few posts down the feed.)
