Looks awesome in Cyber Gray! Go with the ECS setup! Doug and the guys at ECS are great! Ive had them tune two LS3 vette's for me. Plus their kits make more torque with the restrictor plate setup.

I was debating on that, but I think im going with the A&A setup through IPS, they have an amazing deal going on.

Call ECS first. Sometimes they have specials or will work with you. Either one will make plenty of power though. Good luck!

I'm going to call them tomorrow, but right now IPS, is doing $6800 installed and tuned, that includes injectors/bap etc. Damn dry sump cars require a new radiator though. $6100 on base cars.

I was going to send the car over for a cam/headers/sc install

I know 2 guys with Vettes with A&A kits and they make great power! One guy has a heads cam 08 Z06 and it made 742 on 9 psi and the other guy has an 08 with a built Ls3 and its making north of 800. You will be able to make pretty much whatever you want to with them. Either way that GS will be nasty!

I don't think you can go wrong with either kit. My dad has an ECS kit on his and is very happy especially compared to his old centri mustangs which lacked low end torque. Lots of good info over on corvetteforum.com which I'm sure you're already aware of.

Is it a shop we all know?

Cover Tuning Dynamics in Columbus, OH.

They are infamous for the 2000whp lamborghini that never fired up.

This was caused by them dropping a screw in one of my heads when they were doing final assembly. After a short while it found it's way into Cyl #7.

This is the second time this plug closed up.

Dimpled Cyl #7, after the screw broke apart, and broke a few plugs, all of the garbage that jumped around in that cylinder.

First they say they cannot be responsible for customer supplied parts. Let me air this out, I supplied parts but I had them drop shipped from the vendors. No different than if they ordered them themselves. They handled the parts and removed them from boxes new. This is not different from any other shop.

Here is a video of their owner back in September being a pompous windbag. If I wasn't an old friend of his, I'd never let his shop do the work. As you can see he is clearly clueless.

Wow you said you were suing them hopefully you win. You would think they would make it right.
I know that the insurance for a shop will not cover anything unless the parts are bought and supplied by the shop themselves. On the 09 that I have that needed a glass top the only place to get the glass was from ford. Funny enough ford would not install it. I called multiple places and they said that they would put it in but if something happened they would not cover it since they didn't supply the glass. I ended up having to have the glass company purchase the glass from ford then install it for it to be covered.

Yep, the plan was my gt500 would've given their shop some vindication of actually of building something fast.

I spec'd it out, all they did was put it together. They didn't even tune the engine.

When you say, 'dropped a screw', do you mean they were just completely negligent and didn't notice a screw sitting in the cylinder? Or did a screw back out of something (I don't know what) and fall in after you fired it up?

last time I checked, a piece of a drywall screw is something not found in an engine. So yes, complete negligence. The screw had to of been dropped in the head when they were assembling it, and it found it's way into the cylinder through a valve. The car did make great power, and you could not hear it rattling around, until it made it's way to a piston.

lol,that exhaust is comical!

why has the lambo never beed started?

watch the video, he states because his new motec ecu has lead and the epa would fine him, lol.
