I went with the Axle Exchange 4" DS. It is 100% perfect with no vibration at all. But you have to change the rear pinion flange. No big deal if you have a pully puller.

My car is lowered 1" and it fit with no other mods.

Also, there is absolutely "0" performance inprovements. Definitely do not buy it for that reason alone. I log all my runs at the track and changes for each. I run the same in a given DA as before.

What is does do is take a nice chunk of weight off the car along with being much stronger vs. stock. High RPM launches aren't as worrisome.

went back to the track today and the car was .18 slower, went from 11.77 to 11.95, only change was removing the aluminum shaft. DA was better and 60' was slightly better too...

i have heard some guys claim that the driveshafts are worth .1-.2 but some claim it gives you no gains.

No. I sent the original back (they paid for shipping and refunded my money) and they offered to send be a prototype to test. If it worked and I liked it, I kept it and paid for it. If it didn't work, they pay to ship it back.

I emailed and david said they are no longer selling them for the 2011 gt

Thats crazy that they stopped making them for the 5.0. I picked up mine on a forum for dirt cheap.

Don't mean to bring this back from the dead but I see Shaftmasters are now selling them again.

My shaftmasters 3.5" took my from consistent 12.90x' to consistent 12.72-75's.
Unless my driving just suddenly changed after I installed it lol
