Overrated and overpriced. Most of us on this forum could build a better car and have enough money left over to buy an enclosed trailer, a new dually and a cabin in Montana.

USA Today said:
Shelby American acknowledged Tuesday afternoon that it faked photos of the front end of its new 950-horsepower Shelby 1000 lifting off the ground.

Why in Gods name would they try and fake something like that? Did they really think that their customers wouldn't notice how the suspension is somehow loaded even though the front wheels are "off the ground"? And not to mention the fact that the rear end doesn't even seem to be squated at all and their is no bulge or wrinkle at all from the rear tires digging in!
I just lost a ton of respect for Shelby! maybe not the man but the company for sure:thumbdown:

Breaking news: Jimmi Hendrix; dead at 26!

Wha, When was this?! I swear I was just listening to him on the radio yesterday...

This made me laugh out loud. Also I lost respect for Shelby years ago. This is nothing new from them guys. Pretty stupid to think no one would catch it but nothing surprising.

I volunteered at the Shelby America booth yesterday at the NY Auto show. The topic of the pictures came up, they response was, "We were just fooling around and never had intent to trick anyone, what car guy is gonna be fooled by those, LOL"

The engine bay looked very well done. The wheels are pure sex IMO. Running 305 rears, which one of the Shelby guys said were worthless with the power the car makes.

Interesting point - 19#s on 91 Octane

Also meet and had nice convo with the owner of the "Code Red" Shelby prototype
