Some people recommend replacing the spark plug boots and the wire (spring).

Where do I get the boot and wire from?

You should be warned that brisk plugs only last about 10k miles, I wouldn't use those.

Our cars don't have boots and wires, they have coil packs, which don't need replacing.

On an N/A car there is no point.

He is referring to the rubber boot and spring on the lower half of the COP.

OK, i've thought hard about Motorcraft vs Brisk vs Champion vs Autolite.

I think I may stick to Motorcraft and just put some of that nickel anti-sieze on it.

At least I know it'll work properly. Mine has with no problems for 40K miles since I bought the car.

I may wait another 10K miles before changing the plugs. If they're not stuck now, I doubt they'll be stuck then.

The boot i was referring to was this:

You can buy them for like $4 a piece.

Kinda off topic but I have the new plug design on my 08, do I have to worry about the plugs breaking off?

I put them in my 2008 GT with a Saleen supercharger on it.

I have not had any problems running Brisk plugs well over 10k before needing to change them. Which heat range plug were you having problems with?
