Should I go with 3.73s?

It's time for another mod, and I've been looking at putting 3.73s in the car. I currently have the stock 3.31s in it. I do like the long 2nd gear it has, but I know the 3.73s will launch it alot faster. I was wondering what the guys who have changed gears think of that decision in hindsight. Also, when running on a 1/4 mile track I currently finish in 3rd gear, will I have to shift into 4th with the 3.73s?
