It's plastic... Paint is the only option I would think.

Yup! Its the same paint I used on the valve covers. Just taped up the manifold, then hand painted the places that needed it.

Its under the Glove box secured to the HVAC blower motor.

I hear ya. It bugs the shit out of me. I can't stand seeing all the hoses every where. I want that old school look. Open the hood, and the motor reaches up and slaps you in the face. Can't wait to get a blower to open up the front of the engine...
