They do make 11+ Koni str.ts now that wont lower your car the 1/4" anymore and they dont require GT500 strut mounts so they sound like they are up your alley. My car is lowered 1.7 front, 2.4 rear.
Oh snap?! I had no idea.

I hear the stock strut mounts can fall apart when you remove them, so maybe I'll just buy a backup set of regular ones. Just in case.

Thanks for the heads up.

Soon I will be able to contribute, although I'm not 'slammed'.

Wheels being shipped...Konig Oversteer in Opal, 19x9.5 +40 offset front/rear. Going with 285/35s squared probably; might drop down to a 275/35 front depending on how 'bulgey' the tires are.

My old setup, 18x10 square Drifts with 285/40s front and rear.

You'd be able to pull off a 285/35 easy at +40 and 9.5"

Yeah, I know they will 'fit', but I might like a tire that fits a little more flush in the front, know that I'm saying? I typically like the height of the 285/35 though. We'll see.

That will be pretty flush in the front. With a +33~ offset on that wheel size would warrant a 275/35 to be flush.

I know what you mean. I was talking more about the sidewall bulge of the tire on the wheel itself. I don't mind some bulge on the rear tires but not as much on the front tires. I was going to do 275/40s all around but I saw some of those and they looked too tall overall. I have seen others with 255/40s in the front and they look too 'stretched' on a 9.5 wheel to me. I don't want to go shorter than 27" and the 275/35 is a little under that. Can't win, LOL.

I think the +40 offset will be ideal; I can always space them out slightly for a more flush look if needed.

Haha, whatever floats your boat. My GF has 275/40 on her RTR wheels and I love how it looks. But the 35 profile is really nice too.

I run a 285/35 in the rear with a 19x11 +36 and a 19x9.5 +15 with a 255/40 for reference. you may have to copy that first pic and lighten it up to see where the tire is in relation to the fender (s) damn black crap wheels. i have run more aggressive offset in the front by about 15mm but you have a reverse stagger look that is not good--although in some situations functional

^ This car is making me re-think my 285/35 x 4 tire choice. Damn! My upcoming wheels have the same fitment specs and those 275/40 tires look great on it. Oh well. Tires are on their way to my house already. Try them and see I guess.

that car does look pretty damn good. I still personally would opt for the 285/35 it wont be that huge of a difference visually

Neema, trust me I have seen many many pics of your setup. I almost bought some LM Reps about 482749 times. I still might end up with those, always liked them. We'll see how these Konigs look. Only a couple pictures of them actually mounted on cars floating around the web. And they are listed at 22lbs in a 19x9.5 which seems too good to be true for the price.

What 285/35 did you order?

Cheapies to start with until I figure out sizing and such... :) 'Accelera' brand off ebay. Actually they seem to be pretty popular in Europe and seem to be decent. $596 shipped for the set.

Neema, you running stock wheel studs with that 15mm spacer?

Negative. You need a longer stud. The spacers are H&Rs, they came with studs.

Just giving you an idea of the tire size you're looking at on a similar wheel size. All tires are sized a little differently. The Kumhos were really square shouldered. It'll be interesting to see what the Konigs look like. 22 lbs is fairly light.

Hmm, with those offsets, you could go with Forgestar super deep concave F14s front and back. the 11" rear with 36 offset looks surprisingly benign with the 285 on it and the front almost looks like you can go with a lower offset if you wanted to. Nice work!
