they quoted me $600 for the install and $400 for a dyno tune

Pete from Performance Dyno where I have my dyno tune from wanted $750 for an install and $150 for a dyno tune.

Note for Pete: No cats and a PASS for inspection, no other tuner I've talked to (AM, Brenspeed, BBR, Dez) had any idea how to make that work

Do you run his tune all the time or do you run it just for inspection?

All the time baby! Made more power and tq than the tune from Bama and the A/F is spot on. It's not a limped down tune for inspection, he just knows how to make it so your rear O2's are ON but don't report any codes.

Where is it?

To be honest I would feel bad if I bailed on all the people I told to meet me in Newburyport on Sunday.

So I think I'll pass dude.

Thats why I went with something I know I could do.

After doing things once I usually have a firm grasp on it. So I want to do a cam install so I can help others with it.

I would definitely help with a longtube install haha.

Didnt think I'd ever get longtubes but now that I'm here...

Get some. I could see if we can use the lift at my buddies station.

And then get a $150 tune from pete and never worry about inspection

Your buddy has a lift???

Let me know because I'm going to need to install this H pipe sooner or later.

How much do longtubes cost? Last time I saw, they were like $1200??? I don't have that money sitting around =(

He owns a Sunoco station, like the one I'm having you guys meet at haha.

longtubes very in cost man. Boost Brothers are like $150, and I got my ARH for $1300.

Since I didnt want any issues with fitment, or build quality (I've heard the pypes ones may have a flange that isnt straight, therefore it will leak) so I went with ARH. I would highly recommend them. When you're at the show we'll talk because I did alot of research first.

Ah. Hmm, I'll look into this. I know the Pypes one wont fit because I have the CHE brace thingy on the transmission. We'll see about long tubes.

Btw, I caved and bought the hot rods.
