Staggered Wheels

I have 17X9 chrome bullitts with Nitto NT450 255/50 tires and was thinking about going with 18X9 deep dish bullitts sporting Nitto 255/45 on the rear.

Question is:

1. Do you think this would look good
2. Is it OK to run 2 different thread patterns because Nitto doesn't make the NT450 in 18 inch

Yes, it would work... You're going to be the same exact size height, so the ABS will remain happy.

Corvettes have run different sized wheels (front/rear) for years, but the rear is typically much wider.

Most folks will tell you NOT to run 2 different tread patterns because it made adversely effect handling. I seriously doubt it'll make a difference, but there may be a chance that the two different styles run slightly smaller/larger than the true indicated size.

Well I was thinking that the thread pattern should be ok since my car is rarely driven in the rain.
