Steeda Belt Tensioner

Has anyone tried the Steeda belt tensioner? It's half the cost of a Thumper, so if it's proven I'd prefer to save some $$.

You do realize that Steeda is a supporting vendor here as well, right?


As for your choice of tensioners, get the one that best suits your needs. Are you throwing high boost at the car? Speed shifting at high RPMs? Do you have a need for a new tensioner?

I would actually recomend BBRs. Its pretty much a KB tensioner i believe. but im willing to bet Johnny or Cris would work out a cheaper deal for you

I have the Steeda tensioner. I wasn't seeing any issues with the stock one, but installed this unit pre-emptively because I'm running 10 psi now and will be running probably 15 or 16 by the end of the summer.

Nice piece. My only issue was that I had to grind down the corner of the billet reinformcement piece because it was hitting my aftercooler piping.
