How does the car perform with the CAI and stock tune?

As long as you install the reducer, just fine.
The reducer is just for passing a state sniffer test.
Take the reducer out after the test and reload the tune.
Wash, rinse and repeat every two years or what ever your state sniffer test requirements are.
