Selling a used Steeda Tri-Ax shifter with accompanying bushings (red and black) and bracket to attach at the rear of the shifter housing. This is for the 2011+ Mustangs with the MT-82 Transmission. New they are $249.95, looking to get $175 shipped in the lower 48. Canada, Alaska, or Hawaii we can figure out the shipping costs. I completely disassembled the shifter and re-greased it roughly 1,000 miles ago and the shifter is in perfect working order.

Included pieces are:

Shifter
Red Bushing
Black Bushing
Bracket to hold rear of shifter housing
Spring (not sure if this is the soft or hard spring?) - other is in shifter
Instructions

As you will see in the pictures below, the red bushing has been cut with a razor. I couldn't for the life of me get it off the rear of the shifter housing when I removed the bracket so cut it as close to the top as possible. The cut is deep within the bracket so it should not make any difference once installed. The black bushing has not been cut.

TTT - Make me an offer... I would sell the shifter by itself without the bushings if you want as well.

I talked to my wife about your shifter and she said when my VA benefits come in on Feb 1 if you still have this we are going to get it from you but if you don't we are going to order the shifter bracket and then buy a new tri ax next month.

Free bump! Lol

Just my $0.02 worth, I was running the same shifter bracket, and I am about 99.99% certain that cutting the bushing would have zero negative effect of the functionality of the part. With the metal bracket surrounding the bushing, once installed, there's no room for movement whatsoever.

GLWS.

Yeah I can't see how it would affect use negatively, that's why I'm willing to pay the full asking of $175 as long as it's still available in the next week or so.

Edit: can I ask why you are getting rid of it?

Absolutely, I am working my way towards the MGW Race spec. I have the blowfish bracket on there now so the stock shifter is acceptable. Once I have the funds to order the new shifter assembly I will be selling the BF bracket as well. I do miss this shifter already, I forgot how sloppy the factory shifter was.

Sweet, how much will you be asking for the blowfish bracket? I might just pick it up from you as well and then we're both happy. My wife's 5.0 is mostly stock for now but will be modded soon enough. We've already got a boss intake, throttle body, cai, and o/r x ready to go on, just trying to find somebody we trust to tune it that won't gouge the wallet.

Not sure yet... under $200. Just have to save up for the MGW first.

My wife said she will be ready to get both the blowfish bracket and the shifter from you next week if you are willing to part with the bracket now and that way we can reduce shipping cost. If not just let me know when you have the bracket off and we will send payment. We are a guaranteed sell for both items when you're ready. (Once our money comes in)

Shifter is ready to go but don't have the bracket out yet... don't really want to pull that until I am ready to replace so I don't have to do everything twice. I will definitely let you know when I pull it out though. :hi:
