I had Steeda under drive pulleys install about one month ago. I have no problems with any of the accessories. Lights, AC and radio all work fine. I noticed at the beginning of this week that at startup, my engine cranks slow the first time and then starts with no problems. But I have notice that each day the first crank is getting slower and slower. Any suggestions what the problem may be?

I do have an auto. If I replace the battery, will need to reflash the computer with my tuner?

Now, I have one month left on warranty. If I take my car to the dealership, do you think that I may get conficts or grief from them about replacing the battery if they see the under drive pulleys?

depends on the dealer. My bet is they will blame the UPD's for not spinning the alternator fast enough. Have you by chance just tried to charge the battery before you go to the dealer. The simple solution is usually the right answer

take your car to an auto parts store. i think most of them these days can check the charging system, can't they? they should be able to tell you if the battery is weak also.

can't answer about the warranty

I do not think the original battery has the same warranty as ones you'd get elsewhere. They will probably tell you the UD pullies caused it if they noticed, perhaps taking the battery out of the car and taking it up there might work better. Your at about the 3+ year mark where most batteries begin to die off and probably doesnt have anything to do w/ the UD pullies.

My bet is they don't even notice the UDPs.
Yea they are not real obvious. My dealership did not have any problems with them. I would take the battery out and take it to autozone or checker, have them check it. Then take the car to either place and have them check your charging system.
