STR607 question

I will be purchasing STR607 wheels for my 05 GT. I want to get 19x10 in the back with +35 offset and 19x8.5 in the front with +30 offset. Should I have any fitment problems with this setup?

What's your goal?
Straight line acceleration or cornering grip?
Your present choice leads me to think drag racing and a 19x10 on the rear should be +42 to +45 for a flush fit with the right tire.
If you want cornering grip, go with 19x10 (18x10 for more tire selection) all around and keep the +42 to +45 offset at each corner. Front brake setup will determine the front offset since caliper to spoke dish is the critical point with big brakes.

STR's aren't very good wheels...to attempt to get the rear wheels flush you'll need something more than a +40mm offset. Sitting flush also really depends a lot on tire choice.

There are several 19x10's that will fit with +42 to +45 offset and allow you to rotate all for corners for even tire wear. Tire selection isn't as great as going to 18's and that all really depends on your end goal.

Most folks run 18x11 for autox or open track. You loose the ability to rotate all the way around but you can run 315's at each corner with CC plates up front.

For DD, 19x10 or 18x10 square are good choices.

Look at Forgestar, APEX and FRPP to name a few for 10" widths with +42 to +45 offsets.

There are several threads with other wheel types mentioned as well. Every wheel has it's own fitment peculiarities, especially when big brakes come into play. Most, if not all, fit fine over base GT brakes, fewer fit over 14" Brembo's and even less fit over 15" Brembo's.

If you like the way Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition wheels stand relative to the fenders, they are 19x10 rear, 50mm ET; 19x9 front, 30mm ET. The fronts fit a Brembo option on a 2013.

Thanks for all the good info. I had originally wanted to go with the str607 wheels because I love the look of the vossen cv3s but did not want the price tag. I may have to rethink what wheels I'm going to get and how much I need to spend.

From what I'm hearing, if I understand correctly, I should probably get a 19x10 with a 45 mm offset.
