So are you saying this is a PCM problem and not a program problem?

Originally they said the engineer thought it was a programming issue. He took some data logs and went back to ford, but came back after a couple of weeks and installed a new PCM.

the only problem there is that almost all my cylinders are randomly misfiring according to the datalogs. not all coil packs can be failing. the other strange thing is that is doesnt run poorly until after the engine light starts flashing.

Mine only cut power a couple of times. Most of the other times it would just flash and drive normally.

i personally wouldnt go to costco for gas.

Been running it for years with ZERO problems. And I see cars worth a lot more than mine filling up there.

Big thread on allfordmistangs about this. My car will be going back to the dealer for the fourth time tomorrow for the misfire/ stutter issue when engine speed is held around 4k rpms for any length of time. I'll update this thread too. Also told my service director that if we weren't able to fix it this time that we need to begin looking into getting me a replacement car.

Someone else created a similar thread. Contact that user and inform of pending TSB. See this thread. Sounds similar in some aspects, but not as bad as Bald Menace's issue:

Perhaps make a Pending TSB thread with the symptoms.
