I understand the rod bearings being different for journal size, but why crank gear and oil pump? I only ask because I just looked at their website for the 4.75 kit and it didn't mention anything about it. Just said it comes with an frpp oil pump

I’m not sure why they don’t mention it. The section of the crank snout the the oil pump rises on and the #1 journal itself are slightly wider. The backing plate on the pump has a slight recession machined into it and same with the crank gear for clearance/alignment.

and no it’s not the same. The way it was explained to me is basically this crankshaft is a coyote stroker crankshaft machined to fit a 4.6 and the rods are basic 4.6 stroker rods.
