strut bar

ok so i just bought a strut bar from "maxpayne" on here last week. And I went to install it today went well i tq'ed the bolts down to 35lb of tq and i took it for a ride and im getting a vibration from somewhere now. Never did it before i installed the strut bar. But i did notice on top of the intake manifold that the back part of the bar is sitting right on top of and im thing MAYBE thats where its coming from idk.....just throwing this out there to see if any body has had a problem with this. Oh and its a V6 mustang that its on. If that helps. Thanks.

Throw some spacers in there, get the bar up off of the intake, and see if your vibration goes away. I think it will.

The V-6s take a taller strut brace, because the intake sits higher.

just put some washers just on the back of the strut bar on each side and it stop the vibration, do u think i should just go ahead and put the washers all around?

you should be fine...strut bar doesnt do all that much besides bracing...
