OK....Keep this short and simple. I am looking to see if anybody has owned AMR charcoal's or black and at some point also owned SVE's black?? Perfer to be someone who has run them on 11+ same car. If you are reading this please tell me which you like best and some of the pro's and con's? Thank you very much!!

PS... I have the AMR's in 19" staggered now , but I will be needing tires again soon and it's about best to just order the whole 9 to the door and bolt up. Yea I think 18" this time for sure. Need more side-wall and decent tire. My traction is sorry! Trying to hold off on DR for now, so just exploring my options. Thanks again!

I had the sve drifts and now have the amr wheels, the only thing I liked better about the sve's is the fact they were available in a 9.5" for the front, I feel 8.5 is a bit narrow for the front, other than that I love everything thing else about the amr's much better, they are a cleaner looking wheel imo

Thanks for the reply man. Let me ask you. You have the AMR now....Are they the gloss black? If so, how bad is the scratching in the clear coat look in the sun? I Always worried about that with going gloss black. Mine are charcoal and I do not have that problem. Looks like the OS on the SVE's may be a little more aggressive looking but the AMR's are probably more dead on with how the OS should be. The SVE looks to be more of a satin or flat black so the scratching should be less noticeable. Overall I like my AMR's just looking at other options and the 2 are in my price range and I love the look of drifts. I would like to see the Silver color AMR in person. I am open to those too.
Anyway, thanks Scott for any feedback.

nah, mine are charcoal like yours, yes the sve's are pretty aggressive compared to the amr's, overall Im much happier with the amr wheels but I will say the sve wheels were of decent quality, I just prefer the cleaner look of the amr wheels

Gloss Black AMR 18's here. Love them and they look great!

Also you cannot see any scratches or any blemishes in the sun.

I have always thought of the SVE Drifts and the AMRs as pretty much the same wheel, just sold by two different large Mustang aftermarket companies. Both are nice looking, inexpensive wheels that look good on our cars. I agree the AMRs are a little "cleaner" looking, though.

If you are considering going back to 18s from 19s, and your car is a DD, I would say go for it and don't look back. I recently went back to 18s after running 20s for a few years on two different cars, and I am so glad that I made the move back. The car rides and handles so much better with the 18s. Although I do love the look of 20s on S197s, for a DD, you just can't go wrong with 18s.

And FWIW, I think silver wheels, AMR or SVE, would look awesome on your car. :thumb:
