Can you find the info on it? I would be excited if there was a Mustang in the 200's.
He went 204.705 MPH in 2009, according to this page on the Texas Mile web site. Plus he has the certificate and time slip hanging in his shop.

If you meant info on the car, like the above poster said, it was a Whippled 2008 GT500, built from one end to the other. There are some pics on PSI's web site.

That is awesome, any ideas on power? Damn that thing is not very aerodynamic so it must be making a lot of power to run that fast in the mile!

I had just missed it. Right when we were pulling in; everyone was still talking about it. I probably wouldn't would have wanted to see it as it likely appeared fatal at that speed.

We had just run our GTR and were walking back. Saw it all happen. His wife was next to our camp when it happened. I thought she was going to faint. We've got video but we aren't going to release it

at least he lived thru that. eddie was at performance powers truck near the end when it happend. he ended up going slow this year only 228. the car would snap sideways in 4th. he kept lowering the boost but it to make it hook it was down to 18psi and he never tuned that low so it ran pig rich

all you could see from the staging area was the dust and some parts. They came by and told us a few minutes later the driver was okay. As of Sunday he was supposed to be in the hospital for observation through Monday.

Yes, and I have the sunburn to prove I was there...the wind sucked it was killing everybody's speed. Still some new records set, those will fall again in March when it's cooler if we can lose the head/crosswind.

You guys were running good.

Were you there for our 238 run when the chute didn't open? It was early Friday

No, I drove in before dawn on Saturday, and drove out Sunday after 3pm. My buddy was running the yellow and black Z06. He only got two good runs in as they were shaking out a belt drive issue on the blower, ran a best 215.1 with the belt shredding after the 3/4 mark. Gone be fast in March. Glad you didn't have a more serious issue with the chute. I am surprised anyone was running chutes with the wind like it was.
