oh man this is way too tempting =P

6grand for 700 hp would make the car $38,000 for me

25,000 miles under optimal conditions? figure a rebuild is another 7grand so you're at 45000 bucks for a super car

Do it. The results are great
I been at 650-700whp for 15000 miles now. Just did a trip from TX to Ohio with about 500lbs of stuff in my car and still averaged 23mpg.

Would this type of setup work for the stringent California laws?

Same question here, I'd really like one of these kits but I'm most concerned about the carb stamp, when you do these pieced together/tuner kits that seem to be a better deal/power gain than the Vortech/Paxton bundles sold direct through them do you lose that magic carb stamp?

I think if you run any changes at all to the kit you loose the carb approval. How-ever how would a tech know if you have larger injectors or a different tune? Seems to me if you have the carb numbers and can pass a sniffer you should be good. I'm guessing of course as I have the same questions and look forward to the real answers.

Another question, the kit comes with injectors and spacers.....so at what power level do you need to step up to the d1000? What I want to do is find a way to have 600 RWH or more and still pass smog (I'll put my cats back on for that when the time comes)

What other items that doesn't come with the kit would be suggested? Oil separator, blow off valve?....when is a boost a pump needed? what pulley size do will I have to go to?

If you could spell it out in layman's terms some of the options, What I want is a DD set up that is going to be safe and reliable but I don't want to leave a bunch of power on the table if I can avoid that. I have a sct tuner so I guess I could just down load the Paxton tune? Problem is I doubt thats the tune I would want given that I would like to get as much hp out of the kit as can safely. Really looking for some suggestions on how to approach this.
