How did you get a fuel cell that allows a stock pump hat assembly?
Wow, sounds like a lot of work lol. Looks killer though.I took a stock 22 gallon fuel tank from a 1970 Mustang and cut a 10" hole in the top. I then installed fuel cell foam in the tank and slid a 10" perforated pipe into it and welded it. After that, I cut the top off of my orginal tank and welded to the 1970 tank. Then I just slid the GT500 pump into the pipe and secured it with the factory lock ring. I also slid a divider into the tank so the stock sending unit float will still move. Since the stock tank utilizes two sending units, I installed a Autometer fuel gauge into a panel that resides where the radio used to be.

A lot of work sounds better LOLIt was a lot of work. The other option was to buy a FR500C fuel cell for $3,000.00
