Here's a shot of my Thump_rrr Racing KB snout brace. It takes about 5 minutes to install, fits precisely, and is well made.

That looks sexy... Glad to know you got it... Thump R racing is God's answer to SC problems... lol... Im planning on getting the tensioner and snout brace too...

RON did you get the retail version of it or still rocking the prototype. I think Peter should offer it in anodized black like he mentioned as a possiblty think it would like alot better for the black version and the billet alum style for the polished for the ones going for "show"

With enough boost it actually puts enough torque on the unit that it flexes the snout downwards and the brace prevents it.

actually it is not the snout flexing, the entire blower is flexing on the plate that mounts it to the manifold. This prevents the flex by using the brace to hinder the movement of the blower

What kind of boost are we talking about that would do something like that? I am running 18 lbs myself on my KB 2.6H. Think I need one?

i saw it on only 14psi.

pop your hood, have someone rev the engine at WOT (in neutral of course) and youll see it flex
