Mine is now in the garage. Waiting for a wing then we go to paint. Friggen huge box.

Huge box is right! Got mine yesterday and now it's in my dining room. Kinda pissed at Fedex's freight shipping. Charged nearly $300 for shipping and the box was all dented and messed up looking. Thought I was going to have to deny delivery, but the hood was not damaged thanks to Tiger's packing.

I'm not near my mustang but can anyone get both the dimensions of the box and the hood? I'm going to pick mine up this weekend but want to size a truck appropriately.

Your car will look sick with that hood.

I think so too. Now, just gotta get the car back..

I'm not at home, but I pulled this from a pm.
Box size is 69x9x62 and roughly 40LBS out the door.

My hood layed flat in the back of a newer model Tundra if that helps any.

That does help. I may have to put it on its side as I'm also grabbing a coyote motor on a pallet along with some boxes of hardware.

Keoni, I don't think they're going to box my hood, you wouldn't happen to have that box near phoenix?

I'll call Paul once I get a clear word on my motor (latest hangup is that there were kinks in the timing chains and no word on the fabricated oil pans).

AeroCatch's came in today...now I just need the nuts to cut into a $1300 Carbon Fiber hood!! Adding the APR CF splitter and APR wing tomorrow...

When installing aftermarket hoods and figuring out where to begin drilling for hood pin placement, I usually install the hood pins, then put a small dab of toothpaste or white grease on top of the hood pins. Then I gently lower the hood on top of the hood pins. The grease or toothpaste leave a mark that gives me a good idea of where to make the first hole on the underside for hood pin placement.

Good to hear everyone is excited about the hoods!! Here is a pic of the car coming down the main straight at New Hampshire Motor Speedway turning in for the bank of the south oval...notice the crowd cheering and going wild..ok, I've got a great imagination!

...off to Watkins Glen next week!!

David, the car looks awesome! Have you installed the Aerocatch pins yet? My set came in too. Just waiting to get the car back then I'll get the hood painted and installed! I'm a little nervous about cutting into my hood too..
