Looks great!! BTW, those steering wheel pieces should just lift out with some minimal force.

That just looks....wow...AMAZING!!!
Few things, if you can help me out.
Where did you buy the CF material? Is it adhesive, or is a heat gun required? How much would I need to do those panels that you did?
Also, anything to worry about pulling any of the vents out, or the dash panels? What type of paint did you use on the vents? Did you sand them down, and if so, with what type of sand paper.
Really wanting to do this to both my 05 GT and my G/F's 07 GT. We both have the IUP Interior, Chrome/Silver, however, I am blacking everything out on my car(within reason, lol) and doing minor things to her car.
Again, looks fantastic!

Instead of sanding down the vents, you can use Plastidip to paint them just incase your like me and you mess up, it peels right off or if your like the OP and good with this sort of stuff you have nothing to worry about lol![]()
What are you talking about cardboard template? I take it is very hard to get it to wrap around the vents?
Have any pictures of what you are talking about and the process of getting the vinyl around the vents and the gauge bezel. Any other tips would be awesome, it looks killer.
I would say use a vinyl paint. That stuff is somewhat flexible and takes a bit of abuse. You just need to clean the vents real good with alcohol and make sure your sweaty fingers don't touch the vents prior to applying the paint. That stuff is very forgiving. Even if the can splatters, it dries up as if a pro painted them.

I used construction paper to get the exact sized hole i needed for the vent pods and bezel. Then I used the template to cut the vinyl to size. Once cut and applied, I just needed some trimming around the openings.
