Tips on Pypes Axle-back. Is this normal?

Am I seeing things, or is this normal. It looks like the tip on the left muffler is longer than the one on the right....as if there's about an inch of straight pipe between the muffler body and where the tip begins to angle. What's the deal? Optical illusion?

For sale locally, being advertised as Pypes. Looks like 'Pypes' engraved on the tips. That left muffler's tip has me holding off right now. That, and the talk of the drone with pypes. Wish I could hear a set locally and get the straight poop on the drone issue.
