Upon my return from deployment, I plan on getting the Steeda Ultra-light silver 18x9.5 and 18x10. I am up in the air about tire choices. I am thinking either Nitto NT555 275/40/18 for the fronts, but the wheels I am stuck between 295/45/18 or 285/40/18 for the rears. I am not worried about my speedodometer being off, I have tuner and my car is not lowered and I don't plan on lowering it. I am leaning towards the 295/45/18 for the rear.
I am aware that going with a taller tire will affect my gearing, but I have 4.10s so going down to 3.90 with taller tires doesn't concern me that much.
Would I need to get re-location brackets for my LCA?

I had the 295/45/18 nittos on the back of my car for almost a year and I liked the look. You won't like how it looks on your car at the stock ride height though, it'll be sitting real high in the rear.

The car on this website's homepage is Paul's (psfracer). He is running 255/45/18 on the front and 295/45/18 on the rear. Can't notice the rear end being that much higher on his car, but I have not seen his car with the stock tires in person.

That is the same tire setup I was running, I still run the same fronts but I have a 295/40/18 tire on the rears now. I will try to dig up some pics of my car with the stock suspension and big tires, it looked funny.

Problem with that combo is mega understeer. Your rear grip far exceeds you front grip, turn the wheel and watch nothing happen.
I am planning on running 275/40/18 in the front. I assume that would cause a little understeer, but not much. I am going to ask to have both the 285/40/18 and the 295/45/18 mounted and see what one I like better. I know I will probably have to pay for additional mounting, but I think it would be worth it.

After looking at the magnum 500 wheels, I like how they look on our car. I may change my mind again...I have a few more months to think about it, but I think I will go with the magnum 500 18x9/18x10 with 255/45/18 and 285/40/18.

There are so many decisions when it comes to wheels and tires... it makes my head hurt when I go to thinking about what I wanna do with my car.

Where you stationed at GMAN, Iraq, or Afghan?

I am in Iraq. I know what you mean about wheel/tire choices. I was looking at FR500 then godspeed omega, then steeda and now I like magnum 500s. I am thinking about pulling the trigger and just ordering them.
