Ok so I was driving last night and i go the flat tire light and my display said low tire pressure. I checked all my tires, 3 were at 35psi and 1 was at 25psi. Its weird because when I go to the track i run 25psi in the rears for more traction. Well, I was upset for 2 reasons... 1. I was losing air pressure in a tire and 2. because my car had this system so it would be more exspensive/annoying to change my wheels. So I take it to a buddys tire shop to get the flat repair and let him know about the sensors in the tires/wheels. He calls me later to come pick it up and when I get there he tells me that there were NO sensors in/on the wheel. That my system looks like it runs through the abs system and it monitors the drag on the tire due to low air and/or the drag on the rotation of the tire. My car is an 07 too by the way. So from what I've found/figured out as long as you run the same height wheel/tire combo as stock you dont have to work about the tpms on (certian) mustangs. I say certian mustangs because a friend of mine had the actual sensor attached to the wheel. Just thought I would let everyone know what I found out.
