I have been back and forth on a cobra or a 13 gt. not really sure I want to pay low to mid 20's for a 10 year old car so the 13 is looking more attractive.
I can order a 13gt 301a with brembos, recaros,or I can get the track pack. Is the track pack worth the extra money? I'm not going to be drag racing the car at the track but it wil likely see a procharger in its future.I would like the 373 gears so the track pack is appealing for the cost difference over just the brembo package. This is a thread for opinions so fire away....let me know what your experiences are with the brembos and the track packs please, also the termi over 13 option could still be on the table to. This isn't a money based decision as much as it is getting the most car for the dollar I'm willing to spend,.thanks

well the track pack will come with brembo's.... i say go for it. i drove a base '13 with the track pack and recaro's and loved every second of it. After trading in a modded 04 cobra for a 2011 5.0.... i could never go back.. just too much i love about the newer cars...

I know what you mean about the newer cars. I have had foxes and new edges before then the 08 bullitt, the older cars just aren't as refined as the new ones, the brembos are like 1600 and the track pack is like 2400 it's not a huge difference if its actually adding a significant difference to the car.

the 13 order bank is closed.

get the TP its worth it.

I thought it was too but according to my local dealer he can still order a 13 because he still has allocation. He told me last weekend he couldn't order anymore 13's then called me back later in the week and said he could.

I'm in the same boat as you. I plan on a 13. My dealer has one in the color I want. It's just not a trac pack car.

My buddy is a finance/sales manager at ford, I'm checking with him to make sure he didn't give me bogus info but he assures me he can order a 13 still

i could have gotten an 03/04 cobra for the same price as my 06 but there was no way in hell i could deal with the ugly as hell interior of the new edges and earlier for a DD. course after having a rental 12 v6 i can't stop thnking about maybe trading up to a 15 when they come out

I'd vote for a 2013 model over a Terminator any day. As mean as the Cobras are, overall for a DD, a 2013 will beat it by every measure. I have had my 2013 for about two months now, and I absolutely love it. And I don't even have the TP or the Brembos.

Either option on the '13 is a good one. I have an almost-track-pack car (Brembos & 3.73) with Recaros & the 301A group. I love the car.

Could one just buy a non brembo, non TP car, and throw brembo's on it Plus some beefier suspension components and be better off?

i say get the track pack. It's not that expensive for what you get. brembos are nice and so is the torsen differential. and the upgraded radiator and oil cool are nice as well. and if you want 3.73s, it's going to cost probably $500+ to get them installed.

Just talked to the manager at the ford dealer. He says the order is good to go if I want it. 13 with track pack and recaros. Asked him about the order banks being closed and he said he's talked to ford and its process able now if I want it.. How is this possible if the order banks are closed???? I have no clue
