Bill220: start an install thread, and if you get stuck or have any questions you can post pics/questions for the guys on this forum that have already done the install. I did my TVS install myself, and the help I got from this site was a life saver.

stepless clamps are one way trip crimp clamps, I'm thinking for connecting the fuel pump.

I just did this install, but on a Coyote, and they use these clamps for pretty much everything under 1" including any pvc, heater hose, and anywhere a smaller hose is modified for the system. They look super clean if you can get the crimped part rotated away from where eyes can see imo, but again a hand full of small worm gear clamps would work just fine and cost less than you can pay for some of the fancy pliers used to (set) these clamps.

Bill,

I wish your Son that does the diesel thing was also going to join in on the install buddy.

But wishing does not get things done that's for sure.

If you and your electrician Son take your (time) and do it by the (Numbers) I think all will be just fine.

Way the heck back in time I had a Paxton S/C installed by a buddy of mine that had a garage and did the usual auto repairs.

He was sure not a Performance Shop by any Stretch of the imagination.

The install went just fine and it worked just as it should.

It was a Fox body White Mustang and ran great after the Paxton was installed.

Happy motoring buddy,
Terry

That is one badass car Terry!

My son is super smart and very methodical. I'm the impatient asshole that can't follow directions. He will keep me in line and we'll get the job done. Chase at Brenspeed said the install is totally doable by a regular guy.

Bill,

Most Dad's don't choose to (Listen or follow the Advise) of a Son but in this case I hope you do.

That white LS Mustang was a really cool machine for it's time.

Bill believe it or not I had that Mustang actually paid for.
That was a new experience for me back when I was trading cars way to frequently.

I had a Hurst shifter also installed.

Terry,

I will follow my son's lead. He's very smart, methodical and can follow directions. My other son backed (diesel mechanic), backed out on me yet again.

I used to trade out cars like mad. I've had this Bullitt for 6 years and it's going nowhere. I've owned it longer than any car I've owned since I was 17. I'm extremely fond of it.

The detailing is all done except for the engine compartment. That is very clean but not detailed. Once the blower is in I'll go to it. I even did the undercarriage, LOL.

The paint correction came out great.

Hey,

I can relate to trading cars buddy as I use to get rid of them almost as fast as I got them home.

The ONLY car that has stayed is the 2008 Bullitt Mustang which I still have.

Sorry buddy that the 1-Son is flopping around on joining in on the Paxton install.

But .............

Things like that do happen and all is not lost as your other Son is hanging with you !!!

Oh and I have actually cleaned mine underneath as you speak of doing your's.

That's not a very fun thing to do on one's back as the car is siting in the air on jack-stands in my case.

But it was worth doing although I don't do that very often as it's to me a real Major Pain and takes forever.

Question ???
What City and State do you live in ???

Hang tough buddy,
Terry
