Total electrical power loss causes???

Recently replaced alternator and since then the car has lost all electrical power twice while driving but then does come back after a few minutes. Under the hood I can hear what sounds like a dull clicking you can almost feel it more than you hear it near the front passenger side near the fuse box, any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a bad connection/ground or a bad relay.

I would pull the alt again to make sure all connections are tight.
