I'll be getting a set of GT500 SVTPP take off wheels and tires soon, I am not sure what I need to do to put them on my 2013 GT. They are from a 2011 or 2012 GT500.

I've been reading and what I've seen says the TPMS will reprogram itself, is this true or will I need to get them reprogrammed? Whats the best way to do this?

My daughter's car is a 2012 V6. I bought another stock GT (2012) take-off set and read that they would reprogram themselves. They have been on for a couple of weeks and no isues. I didn't think anything changed on the 2013.

I bought a set of Stage3 roush wheels on mine and had no issues with the TPMS system relearning.

I've got new Forgestar F14 fitted on my 2013 GT, I ordered them from wheelstudio.com and had them shipped to Dubai. They had Schrader TPMS sensors in the valves. I got a ford programmer to re-calibrate the sensors but it didn't work I followed the steps (Off-brake bedal-Off run Off run etc...) when it says train drivers front tire the trigger doesn't respond with the sensor.

I hope you don't face the same problem..

Let the air out of all the tires and fill them back up then try the trigger again. you have to change the pressure in the tire to wake the sensors up. Worked like a champ on mine.

Anytime you swap wheels, you need to reprogram the TPMS sensors. Even if you rotate your tires, you need to resync them. Thats why there is a Ford TPMS sync tool.

IF you just rotate them or put new wheel/tire combo on. The TPMS will not get triggered, however it will not work accurately
