I installed another set of rims/tires on my Bullitt using a new set of Ford tpms band sensors. Sure enough, on my way to a car show yesterday, the warning light came on. Looks like I have to buy the training tool now.

I got a set of wheels/tires from Tire Rack, complete with new band sensors. I went to my friendly Ford dealer and they trained them in about eight minutes, no charge.

Well got the replacement sensors in today from AM. Took them out the car and they trained to it with out any problems. I debating on doing the PVC trick or getting them mounted in the car.

AM had a bad batch of sensors. It took three sets they had to send me before I got a working set. They just said it was a bad batch. They handled my issue correctly covering return shipping and covering the dismount/remount fees...

That's quite a rare thing.. A "friendly" ford dealer

Mine wanted 200 bucks So I bought the tool

BullittWow - did the light eventually go off?

After I installed the wheels and tires, everything was ok with the tpms, but I figured the warning light and message would come on eventually. Sure enough, 25 miles later, the warning chime/light came on. I reset the message, but the light stays on.

What he said.
I had the same problem but AM made it right. I just got them relpaced today, and so far so good.
I had to re train the sensors on my 2012.

Ugh. So the new sensors trained to the car fine. I went and burned most of my day running to the nearest city to get them swapped out. Got them installed, retrained them to the car no problem. Got 20 miles on the car and it threw another fault like it isn't reading the sensors. I got home and retrained them again. I have a feeling in 20 miles they are going to crap out on me again though. Really getting sick of seeing that stupid light on my dash. I hate TPMS systems.
