What would cause fuel not to be transfer from passenger side to driver side tank? I am thinking that maybe I didn't get a good connection on the fuel line inside the tank. Anyone have any idea? I just change fuel pump out and did wire upgrade.

Is it possible you have the same issue as me?

Thats my concern with the Fore hat. You have to twist and bend the line. So far I think mine is running just fine but I have yet to run the tank down past 1/2 and remove the passenger side assembly.

When I installed my Fore Fuel Hat, the twisting of the coupler wasn't bad at all. You just have to make sure that you also hold the tubing while twisting the coupler. Moves right to where you need it and you don't risk damaging the tube.

Yeah...I was working on this one by myself so one hand was holding the hat with triple pumps while the other fished out the tube and made the connection. This is my last tank of racing fuel so I'll run it down and the check the passenger side tank to make sure it's moving fuel.

Not sure when my damage happened. Could have been on any of the pump swaps. My pumps have been swapped more then a porn stars saliva, before the Fore unit when in.

I was able to straiten mine out today with a pair of pliers. I will try to install it tomorrow and see if it stays strait. If not I will work some SS tube with the bender and make a splice.

Would something like this help you guys out? Cut the hard plastic hose behind where its bent and slip this on and lightly clamp it. That hose doesnt see pressure so you wouldnt have to worry about it coming apart and the rubber fuel hose will be more forgiving and flex. I have enough stuff to make a few of these.

I thought about doing that but dint know if there would be any effect on the siphon if there was a sag in the line. There shouldn't be but think I have mine back in usable shape now. I am going to install it after lunch and check it out.

You also need to make sure that the fuel hose you use is submersible. Many fuel lines are not and the rubber will start to erode and brake down releasing the black into the fuel system.

Not sure lol I have lots of random fuel system stuff. I believe they are from the stock line outside the tank.

How hard was it to pull that out? How hard do you think it would be to put it back in?
Out was easy. Going back in sucked. You have to get your entire forarm in the tank. If you have skinny arms like me you can do it, if not then pull the tank. Well, I take that back. Just tie a rope to one end and pull out from the other, that way there is a guide line to feed it back in.

hey guys i know this is an old thread but man am i glad i found this. Nobody in the world knows what the deal is with the cross over tube but you guys. half the people think that the passengers side tube is connected to a jet pump. I have this exact problem you guys are having. I am getting no gas to the drivers side main fuel pump side. so if im not getting any gas to it by the way thanks ford for this great design unreal so if im not getting any gas to driv side what do you guys think i pulled the drivers side pump and the crossover tube was connected tight. does anyone have a picture of what is in the passengers side. i know that the sending unit is there but where is that hose connected to or what is it connected to. thanks again if anyone sees this and replies.

Hose just connects to the hat on the transfer side. You can Google a pic of it. Right fuel jet transfer pump are some key words. Unless you caused something to damage the transfer hose it's likely not that. Could be vent/evap fill problem as well.
