I think we should continue the engine oil discussion in this thread just to piss you off further.
Take your brash attitude and shove it up your ass.

The thread title is "TRANSMISSION fluid mt6" and you're telling him he should leave?
Take your dumbass attitude and shove it up your ass.

1. I didn't start the engine oil discussion.
2. The discussion moved to lubricants in general AROUND PAGE 4 of this thread.
3. READ THE THREAD INSTEAD OF JUST THE TITLE.
Any other words of wisdom or are you just content on being a moron?

I did a search on this thread and didn't find anyone mentioning Pennzoil Syncromesh. My mechanic is a Ford specialist and has been recommending it for years in all Ford manual transmissions. I put it in my Bullitt a few months ago and it made a big difference over the stock fluid. Has anybody here tried it in the 2011-2012 gearboxes yet?
There is a local guy that had some success with it in the early life of his MT-82, but recently....after a year with Pennzoil Synchromesh, he had synchro failures on gears 5 and 6.
I won't use it because it's not a true synthetic base stock. It's also a lighter viscosity than originally used by Ford. Amsoil has their synchromesh that works very well in the MT-82, but the lighter viscosity does make gear roll over noise a bit more noticeable.
Amsoil MTG is the recommended viscosity range.
I'm sure everyone noticed we have an AMSOIL thread in the vendor section, since I have never seen anyone moderate that thread I think you would be a good canidate..... That's just a suggestion..... You have some good info and advice......

I'm a believer.
The best thing about MTG, it's recommended by Amsoil for the 2011+ MT-82 transmission. That means it's also covered under Amsoil's lubricant warranty. Simply meaning if the lubricant was ever proven to cause the transmission's failure, Amsoil pays the bill. Just another piece of mind to use MTG.
