I think we should continue the engine oil discussion in this thread just to piss you off further. :321:

Take your brash attitude and shove it up your ass.

The thread title is "TRANSMISSION fluid mt6" and you're telling him he should leave?

1. I didn't start the engine oil discussion.
2. The discussion moved to lubricants in general AROUND PAGE 4 of this thread.
3. READ THE THREAD INSTEAD OF JUST THE TITLE. :dunce:

Any other words of wisdom or are you just content on being a moron?

I did a search on this thread and didn't find anyone mentioning Pennzoil Syncromesh. My mechanic is a Ford specialist and has been recommending it for years in all Ford manual transmissions. I put it in my Bullitt a few months ago and it made a big difference over the stock fluid. Has anybody here tried it in the 2011-2012 gearboxes yet?

I know you didn't start the engine oil discussion. That's why I didn't quote you. Remove the spiked dildo from your ass and calm down.

And you talking about brash attitudes?

what-the-fuck-did-you-call-me-pot-and-kettle.gif

I don't think either one of us can bitch about the other person having a brash attitude.

There is a local guy that had some success with it in the early life of his MT-82, but recently....after a year with Pennzoil Synchromesh, he had synchro failures on gears 5 and 6.

I won't use it because it's not a true synthetic base stock. It's also a lighter viscosity than originally used by Ford. Amsoil has their synchromesh that works very well in the MT-82, but the lighter viscosity does make gear roll over noise a bit more noticeable.

Amsoil MTG is the recommended viscosity range.

I'm sure everyone noticed we have an AMSOIL thread in the vendor section, since I have never seen anyone moderate that thread I think you would be a good canidate..... That's just a suggestion..... You have some good info and advice......

Thanks for the mad props, but that's actually not a forum section. If you click the link, it takes you straight to Amsoil's website....lol

So now I am thinking of switching from the MTL that's in there now, to the MTG.

I just put MTG in my car and the gear rollover is more quiet than the stock pre-TSB fluid. Take it for what you will, it might be my imagination but i honestly think my transmission is quieter. I do believe if I installed my stock shifter and that POS stock bracket my cabin would be whisper quiet again. The noise did not appear until after the shifter/bracket.

I just did a back-to-back comparison between stock QDC(I believe) and BG Synchromesh II. I recently had my trans replaced due to a whine and I have the latest available updated part number. I have been driving it around for about a week and a half, local weather has been cold(around 40 degrees) and the shift effort was much higher than my previous trans (that I also had the BG fluid in) also even after the trans warmed up.

The difference was immediate and night-and-day better. Previously I had difficulty moving into first after coming to a stop, and also problems getting into fifth in normal traffic. With the BG Synchromesh II I can shift with one finger, even first thing in the morning. No increase in noise, not a single crunch/grind/nibble whatsoever.

I am a Mercedes Benz master certified technician and we use this fluid for transfer cases. We had issues with chatter when going around tight corners and this stuff worked like magic. I tried it in my car last year when I first heard the whine. It did not fix that but after 10,000 miles and 4 track days including the Texas Mile the car shifted great.

I decided to get the whine addressed at my dealer(Ted Britt in Fairfax, awesome dealer BTW, did not care about my mods) and got the opprotunity to see the internals of my trans. The cause was bad bearings on both the input shaft and counter shaft. There was very slight wear/gouging on the input shaft under the bearing, but that bearing itself had no visible damage. All gears and synchros were flawless with almost no metal particles in the pan.

I have GoPro video of the same day test, still in the editing phase. Pretty boring though and you have to look at my ugly mug. I'll try to get more 'action' footage this weekend before X-Mas.

The best thing about MTG, it's recommended by Amsoil for the 2011+ MT-82 transmission. That means it's also covered under Amsoil's lubricant warranty. Simply meaning if the lubricant was ever proven to cause the transmission's failure, Amsoil pays the bill. Just another piece of mind to use MTG.
