My wife 2014 CS has a black filler panel around the faux gas cap. It seems to be degrading and looks like its delaminating along the bottom. Anyone else seeing this? Its getting replaced under warranty.

2014 that I've had for 3-1/2 years. Just started a week or two ago.

I recently found this issue too on my 2014. It's been garage kept for the majority of its 9,1xx miles, so I know it's not environment related.

As long as the car is within the 3 year 36000 mile base warranty, it is covered under warranty. Have replaced many of them here.

Replaced with a revised part, or is it the same one?

I'd rather just delete ALL of those black panels in the rear, as they're just too much. Especially on an Oxford White car like mine.

It is just a replacement. It is just plastic. So unfortunately with chemicals from cleaning it can turn.

You'd be replacing it with another black panel.

Or you can get the replacement one powder coated.

Maybe I'm wrong but you can't powder coat plastic.

You can, has to be low temp and with a different powder.

Or you can get it painted to suit your preference. The point being that you aren't "stuck" with a black panel.

Very nice. Especially with that rear bumper cover. Didn't see it on their site. Anybody know about it?

It's distinctly different from my 14 GT rear bumper cover, as well as any other 13-14 GT cover I have ever seen.
