The sound tube is nothing new they have been using it since 2006, just not in the Mustang. Jaguar actually was the first use of this technology.

I haven't messed with it yet, but you can take out the diaphragm in there and it is supposed to be much louder, saw a vid on youtube of it. That is, if you like it of course.

DO NOT take out the diaphram! You'll allow air into the intake, ruin the calibration and run lean. The diaphram stays but you can pull the 2 foam plugs out if you'd like.

I deleted my whole thing, plugged the holes and the whole car sounds much better..

Heads up, as the man says, there are 2 foam plugs...1 is in the tube under the hood..at a junction point nearer the firewall...white foam disk.

No, are you stupid???? This is an American car!! You can only use TI or Ranch. The other stuff is Metric

Bacon Ranch is preferable, that's real 'Murican right there. Meaty stuff.
