Definitely glad I'm getting my tunes from them as well. I've never had any issues or complaints with them. I did have a problem with my handheld but that was cause my old laptop couldn't handle it and froze it in firmware mode.

LOL sometimes it takes a little bit for me to be able to clear my PM inbox. We're active on about 12 forums and I average about 200 PMs a day between all of them. 200 PMs, and then tons of threads to respond to, on top of my actual job here, LOL.

We're hiring right now for a full-time forums rep position here in Malvern, PA to alleviate this a little.

With that amount of volume it makes sense. Thats a lot to go through while still doing your "day job" so to speak on the side.

Good news and bad news........

Good new is i was able to get the car to my house, but there was quite a struggle.

I did as Chris said and let the car idle for 10 or so minutes, about 5-6 mins with A/C.
I went to go drive it and it drove okay, no dying or choking but after i drove it on the way home the RPM's started to hang and it would just bottom out and die. I was sitting at a red light watching my rpms and it literally sounded like someone had their foot on the pedal tapping it making the car rev, it was reving in the exact manner as if I were doing it myself. Afterwards it would just die on me, Having trouble starting it up with the RPM's hanging and the car dying. Other than the idle only Fluctuates to a minor extent (400ish to 1000ish) but the car idles at 1000 RPMs. Not a bit lower, I can provide a video of what its doing and pics of the engine bay if no one believe what I'm saying. Thanks again Chris for looking!

It's sounds like you may have another issue than just the tune from what I'm reading.
Any vacuum leaks?

No codes my freind... going to try some other stuff.
It acts like a vac leak because it cranks idles for a second then dies.

Wait, It drove just find for the first like 20 mins (half was idling) so it just sprung a vac leak all of a sudden and now won't idle? I don't think it's a vac leak if that's the case, correct me if i'm wrong please i need some help

Could that happen or no?

Could the idle still be learning?

I let mine sit for 15min last weekend before I drove it, and I let it sit another 5ish today and it still hunts for the idle from time to time at a light. Its much better then the one time I didn't know it had to "learn" and it died a few times, so maybe it takes longer to learn then we think?

Just trying for answers man.

Bama tune? (Not that it matters, every tune, including stock, has to learn - just curious)

After the idle period, typically about 10 miles worth of stop and go driving will complete the learning process. This is how Ford explains it in the owners manual:

IDK... I just played with the gas while it was dying on me and i got it to idle. It'll sit there and idle but it the RPM's will adjust up and down throughtout it idling so i don't know what it was I took off the whole intake assemble and tightened it all back down. I just need some help I figuring this thing out.

Yup! All my tunes have been from you guys. After the first issue I just called up and was informed of the idle learning. Have a new tune ordered for the delete plates I got, but I'm going to wait till I pass emissions first. I have an O/R H but my 02's are turned on (supposedly, its a performance tune) and no lights, so I hope for the best!

OP let it idle and let us know how it goes

Is this all with the tune I just sent out to you? With the idle learning process, you just start the car and don't touch the throttle. From a cold start is best and for like 5-7 minutes and then another 2 minutes with AC on.

The file I sent to you shouldn't have any of the issues you're stating If anything, it's got so much air in it that it should hang up around 1000rpms for a second or two before idling.

Have you cleaned the MAF? Cleaned the throttle body? New fuel filter?

Next up, I might have you datalog so we can take a look and see WTH is going on.

Do you have cams? If not, 9 times out of 10 it's a dirty throttle body causing the issues.

I don't know how to datalog. i let it idle for awhile like 10-12 minutes then let it idle for 5 mins with the A/C on i don't have a new fuel filter but i clean the maf and TB.
