Yea that would be me. Its a tiny little area thats not flush, so I don't know if that would make a huge difference. Also there is a part that isn't filled in, but its not on the edge so I assume that wouldn't matter either.

That's a good theory but these problems only started after the tune/delete plates. Im no mechanic in anyway shape or form but im going to say its one of those. We are gonna take the timing cover off for good measure anway.

What's the word Thunderbird?:yo::whistling:

Been doing homework and studying all day. Don't really have time to fuck with that car today nor do i really have the capabilities myself to do it, BUT I'll let kyle have my car or something and im sure we can work something out to where he looks at it.

Damn, this story sucks. GL man. I had some struggling idle issues with my cams. Cleaned the TB, got an oil separator, and made sure I let the car learn its idle process and problems went away.

I'm an auto and I able to set both my idle speeds to 650rpm, even with the AC on.

Dude have you unplugged the MAF yet to see if your issue with idle goes away, yet?? Again it may idle fine which would isolate the tune as being the culprit.

i read the whole thing... i had a similar problem with my car after i put my C&L intake on... i accidently left the pin unplugged on the MAF... the plug had backed off... but it did throw it into limp mode and i got some codes... but still may want to check it... did you set the voltage on the TB when you changed it?

And made sure everything wqs hooked up correctly and put on tight, still runs the same, gettting my uncle to get a last look at it because he hasn't looked at it personally yet and he's gonna give me the final say so on what's wrong, regardless its getting dyno tuned ths monday.

You will probably have to pull the front cover off to get any deeper than that.
If there is a physical problem I don't think a dyno tune will help.

John, I hope the best and that you get this fixed. I understand how annoyed you must be that this is your only form of transportation and its not working at 100%.
